Hello, yesterday's excursion was to another cave system, Škocjan Caves, not far from here. Unfortunately, no pictures allowed inside but they are very spectacular caves being composed of a number of huge caverns with the river flowing way down below.
On the bus there, there was a woman who had three changes of hair in an hour. At the caves we had lunch and a little child kept on crawling to our table where we had food. I nicknamed him "left over kid". At one stage he looked up, pleadingly, at my nephew. The people on the guided tour were quite interesting: the Czechs were in a world of their own, carrying on with their own private tour while the guide was talking. A couple must have been afraid of the dark as they kept clutching each other. At the end of the tour a child, who appeared to have been brought up in the woods, started digging a hole (with her hands) under a rock wall. Maybe she detected truffles.
Weather still warm here, just about 29 everyday, but humidity is steadily increasing.
