Bibbulmun Track - Part 1

Hello, the first day on the track covered the section from the town of Albany (the end or start of the track depending which way you are walking it) to the Wind Farm (about 15km). It was a sunny day with the temperature being around 28. Great views of Princes Royal Harbour, and then overland (and a bit of a climb on soft sand) over to the beaches of the Southern Ocean. A hard but spectacular day. A bonus was seeing the rare Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoo.
