The Trip Back via Klagenfurt

Hello, the last of the tour involved a stay in Klagenfurt in Austria (near the Slovenian border) and Ljubljana, before returning to Piran. Klagenfurt has a nice old city centre and is a lot quieter than Innsbruck and it is close to the large and pretty Worthersee (lake). Thankfully, this part of the trip was comparatively uneventful.  However, the train trips had some highlights. There were the two travellers who carried more than adequate supplies for the whole trip (about 2 hours) with a variety of drinks and food. When they weren't eating (not often) they were talking. We changed trains at Villach station and a woman sat next to us and started repacking her stuff. It looked like she was moving house with all the stuff she had. She even had a small watering can. The train to Slovenia had the best air-conditioning of all the trains we took on the trip: you just opened all the windows and let it blow.
